Your Modern Toyota has 4 of these on the truck. They allow you to do a front end alignment so you can go down the road smoothly and straight.

The Center part of this assembly bonds its self to the metal sleeve inside the control arm and does not move as it should. This keeps you from Aligning the vehicle, and is very important after suspension changes are done.

When it becomes frozen together, we have to cut them off your truck and replace them. This is the cross section after we cut them off. You can see the inner sleeve has bonded its self with the outer bushing sleeve.

We replace the entire arm, because the labor to swap the bushings is about the same as the arm cost. You also get a brand new lower ball joint with the new arm. New arm, labor and blades used to chop them off are around $1350 installed.

If your Toyota Tacoma, Tundra, Sequoia, 4Runner, or FJ Cruiser has a subtle humming vibration in the gas pedal, especially at highway speeds, the cause is often a worn factory needle bearing inside the IFS clamshell differential. Over time, this bearing allows excess CV shaft movement, which leads to imbalance, noise, and premature wear. It will also show its cards after a lift kit installation because the load on the CV axle has changed. Chi Town 4x4 offers a bushing that replace the problematic needle bearing, eliminate slop, support the shaft under load, and provide a permanent fix for the vibration.
Our PTFE bushings are precision engineered for Toyota differentials and use materials proven in aircraft landing gear for durability under side loads and high rotational speeds.
We offer bushings for Toyota 7.5 inch, 8 inch, and 9 inch IFS clamshell differentials found in 1986 and newer models, including 2005 and newer Tacoma, 2007 and newer Tundra, and compatible 4Runner and FJ Cruiser years. The result is smoother operation, longer differential life, and the end of that irritating vibration, all at a fraction of the cost of a new front differential. This installation is $450.00

Lots of Aftermarket companies want you to think that his is an upgrade from the Original Sway bar link. The honest truth, we have never seen a set of these not eventually cause damage to the vehicle or the suspension system. They are not more reliable, and you don't need longer links in your front end, even with mid travel shock set ups.

OEM Sway Links are welded, and will not come undone, or cause issues with your truck down the road like aftermarket links will. They are sealed, have a rubber boot, and last 70K+ miles. These are a regular maintenance item and should be attended to when they wear out.

In the rear if you do extended rear travel shocks, you do need longer rear sway bar links to use the travel. Please choose ones that are welded together like this set above. We stock these for $75.00.

The Stock rear Sway bar links are welded together and don't have failure points like the Threaded kind. If you don't have extended travel shocks, these work just fine for replacement.

We strongly believe that the OEM has done a great job with the brakes on these trucks. Replacing and bleeding your brakes is around $500 for parts and labor and fluids for the Front or rear of your modern Toyota.

Power Brake comes to the market with an upgraded Rotor and pad combo to offer a little more bite that the stock pads and rotors offer to help slow down a heavy truck. This set up costs $1250 installed with brake bleed, for front or rear. Double the cost of the OEM.

Going with a Big Brake kit that replaces pads, rotors, Calipers, and all hardware to a much more powerful stopping unit that resists brake fade and performs flawless with large oversized tires and heavy trucks. This kit is $4250.00 Installed with Motul 5.1 Fluid Flushed Through.

We strongly believe that the OEM has done a great job with the tie rods on these trucks with factory or near factory tire sizes. Replacing and installing new inner and out tie rods is maintenance, and costs around $650.00 to exchange them all out.

We stock and sell APEX Series Tie Rods for the Tacoma and 4runner Trucks because they are Soo much stronger than the factory units. Larger Shafts, ball units and grease-able and good warranty to boot. These are around $750 installed for a full set.

The Comparison to Stock Tie rods is that the APEX is larger and much heavier duty in comparison. They cost a bit more, but if your running larger tires, it may be the difference between driving home or having an trail repair.

Remember that some of these Jobs Compound on each other. Example, if we are doing a CV Axle, and we have to drop a Skid Plate, there is more time for that. If we need to install a Transmission Cooler, but you have an aftermarket bumper on the truck, its 5 more hours to pull that thing to get it out of the way and put it back. So if you have questions, please ask, and if you don't tell us, we don't know till its in front of us.

All Of our Connections are made using Glue Lined Adhesive Shrink tube. This seals the connection from the elements and adds a layer of protection.

Wiring harness are always routed in front of radiators and around the sides of the engine bay, away from the fan and moving parts of the motor thus to never interfere with the sensitive parts of the motor.

We test and retest connections and wire runs to make sure that they are not interfering with other vehicle functions.

Lots of the newer Toyota LED lights are run using a Can Bus System where they are computer controlled. Because of this, we do not interrupt these wires, or tap into any of them as it could lead to electrical issues and failures of expensive parts.

All connections will be fused. We don't compromise on this. The Only power wires that we don't use fusing on is winch wires. Where we take the extra time to protect them from grounds and sheathing wear through.

We install a huge amount of lighting for trucks. Baja Designs, Diode Dynamics and Morimoto to name a few. When we can, we will use their pre engineered wiring harness to make the runs. They come with cable protection, fusing and sealed ends from the factory.

Cartridge Style Element. This is Toyota's short cartridge element filter designed for transverse 3.5L V6s and modern 4-cylinder engines.
Toyota used 04152-YZZA2 as an early generation service number for their mid-height (~82 mm) cartridge filter before officially replacing and consolidating it into 04152-YZZA5.

Spin On Filter, This is Toyota’s standard short metal spin-on canister oil filter. It shares the identical 3/4-16 thread pitch and gasket profile as the longer 90915-YZZD3, making them physically cross-compatible, but the D1 is the factory-specified size for many older V6s, inline-6s, and select 4-cylinders.

Spin on Filter: Toyota's large-capacity spin-on canister designed for heavy-duty V8s and longitudinal V6 trucks.
Because the 90915-YZZD3 shares the identical 3/4-16 thread pitch and gasket diameter as the shorter 90915-YZZD1, owners of 1995–2004 Tacomas/4Runners (3.4L 5VZ-FE) and 2.7L 4-cylinders (3RZ-FE / 2TR-FE) routinely run the D3 for larger filtration surface area and additional oil volume.
